In honor of Memorial Day 2010 this episode features a celebrated member of the 101st Airborne Division, Jake McNiece. He spoke about his wartime experiences during Oklahoma D-Day 2009. You won't often find this kind of military history from that era - the kind of history that is told from first person experience. Shaking the man's hand is dramatically different from watching youtube or the History Channel. It really made an impact on me. ![]() ![]() Contact the show: Email: studio@brwp.net Call the Studio Line: 303-952-0274 Skype: blastradiuswoodsballpodcast Twitter - Wayne Twitter - Ben Facebook - Wayne Facebook - Ben Facebook - Group Youtube Myspace Complete our listener survey! http://bit.ly/brwpsurvey LINKS http://delicious.com/brwp/149 MUSIC Theme music by Greg M Johnson http://myspace.com/dewydb 30 May 2010 brwp.net Comments[0]

The Scenario Paintball Players League has begun its fifth season. This year kicked off with a new location in the deserts of Nevada, followed by a return to a well respected field in Georgia. Listen as the director of the league, Jayson Nielson, describes how things played out at each of those, including why he thinks the team turnout in Georgia was particularly low. Today the Desert Edge paintball team and Eclipse announce the first woodsball-branded marker. Dan Saunders and Tim Saunders, both from Desert Edge explain all the details in this exclusive interview. ![]() [click for larger image] +Press Release+ Feb 1, 2009 Planet Eclipse shows their true support for Scenario Paintball and awards Team Desert Edge a Private Label Limited Edition Ego 9. Eclipse and Desert Edge have worked together in designing a gun that appeals to all players, but has a special "wood" flavor. Team Desert Edge has been playing exclusively with Eclipse gear for several seasons. 2009 brings a fourth year of Eclipse sponsoring the Team. Over the past few seasons, both families have backed each other in every way possible. Desert Edge has continued to do all they can to promote the sport of Paintball with the highest level of sportsmanship. The team's promotional efforts don't stop there. Desert Edge has learned years ago, there is no alternative to Eclipse Markers—and they work hard to prove that across the country year-after-year. Desert Edge thankfully represents Eclipse off and on the field by showcasing the best gear known to man—from the stylin' casual line of clothes, to the entire "Distortion" line of performance Paintball Gear, and to the most practical gear bags around. Desert Edge is Ecstatic to now get the chance to put their own flavor on the best guns in the sport—and the best Ego yet. Eclipse steps up their level of support to Scenario World more each year. This new adventure with Desert Edge is yet another way they will no- doubt, bring more players together on common ground no matter what style of play. Planet Eclipse Ltd. or Team Desert Edge does not in any way guarantee the Desert Edge Ego 9 to actually have the flavor of wood. ### Call the BRWP Studio Line: 303-952-0274 BRWP Forum YouTube MySpace Skype: blastradiuswoodsballpodcast LINKS: http://www.planeteclipse.com/ http://teamdesertedge.com/ MUSIC: TYG Das Kombat by The Digital Motion http://www.download.com/digitalmotion blastradiuswoodsballpodcast.com 1 Feb 2009 |

When paintball players go back to their roots, they go play pump. Rather than the high rate of fire contests that can be prevalent today, pump-action paintball games force players to deliberate over each pull of the trigger. The biggest name in pump markers is the CCI Phantom. Since 1987 it has been the standard against which all others are measured. In this exclusive interview, Mike Casady talks to BRWP about a wide range of topics, to include the following: The "small" company that started out buying barrels and breeches from CCI back in the early days; The paintball marker that inspired the original CCI Phantom design; Design changes that Mike has made to the Phantom throughout the years.
